About Travel Author Susan Manlin Katzman
Susan
is a freelance food and travel writer who specializes in culinary,
destination and luxury travel as well as spas, cruises and distinctive
accommodations. Her syndicated food columns appeared in over 125 major
metropolitan newspapers and her travel stories are featured in a variety
of print publications including national newspapers, and regional,
national and international magazines. She has authored five children’s
books, served as a culinary educator and media spokesperson and lectured
to a wide range of audiences on food, travel and creative writing.
In addition she is creator and editor of SweetLeisure.com, a travel
blog showcasing food, restaurants and recipes gathered from unique
properties around the world.
Susan
studied cooking with major chefs of Europe and Southeast Asia, including
Anton Mosimann, Michel Rostang, Les Freres Troisgrois, Marcella

has been a syndicated food columnist appearing in 125 major metropolitan
