The elegant 5-star
Grand Hotel Bellevue rests in a beautiful park setting if trees and
green right on the promenade in the heart of the famed charming
Swiss Bernese Oberland resort of Gstaad, offering spacious rooms, unique

Straumann, a hotelier from Basel where he also owns the historic premiere
5-Star Trois Rois acquired the hotel in 2001, completing a total renovation
in 2002 reopening the hotel as a 5-star luxury world class property,
and the Grand Hotel Bellevue was named Gault Millau Hotel of the Year
in 2003.
The hotel’s 57 Designer Double Rooms and Suites of light and airy
offer views of the nearby forest, all equipped with bathroom and shower,
Bang & Olufsen entertainment electronics, LCD TV, DVD and CD Stereo,
notebook computer with internet and, direct-dial telephone and minibar
with free soft drinks. The Tower Room offers a stunning panoramic view
of the surrounding Saanenland region. The Asia Suite is furnished with
Asian flair design, divided into a living room, dining and sleeping areas
with dressing room. The Suite Bellevue with view of the Oldenhorn mountain
has two floors of space, divided into a sitting room with fireplace and
a bedroom with dressing room and office work area. The Chalet Suite is
classic Swiss style with bedroom and sitting room divided by a fire place.
Experience fine dining in the Gourmet Restaurant Prado Grill with 1 Michelin
Star and 15 Gault Millau points, named for the Museo del Prado in Madrid,
wit a masterpiece art them, or at the Brasserie Coelho, with the chef’s
team has won awards and accolades for combining classic and contemporary
recipes. Relax to live piano music in the bar, or the Club 911, or experience
a wine tasting of selected wines presented by the sommelier in a the
Swiss Carnotzet wine cellar. The "Petit Chalet", is situated
in the park grounds, right on the Gstaad promenade, in summer offering
traditional fondue and raclette in a rustic chalet atmosphere. Unwind
in the Bellevie Lounge Bar or perhaps enjoy a cigar in the Cigar Lounge
with a selection of top quality whiskies.
Rejuvenate at the Wellness Center in an Ottoman Steam Bath, treat yourself
to a range of Asian body treatments, to the invigorating warmth of the
Laconium, and clear the respiration in the Salt Grotto, inhaling alpine
fragrances while immersed in the aromatherapy bath. Relax and open the
pores in the Bio Sauna and then refresh in the bracing Ice Grotto. Take
a plunge in the indoor pool or Jacuzzi in the crisp winter ski season
or in warm summers, recline on the sunny terrace in the hotel garden
